Where I Work
The building where I work in Maynooth. Snowed again last night and very cold. I tried to get a pic of a crashed car sitting perfectly in the middle of a hedge on the N 4 but a man rolled down the back window before I could get the camera and all I could say was are you ok? he said yes there was a tow truck on the way I had to drive off without my picture.

To post or not
I wondered if I should publish the following post, but it is part of my life and I felt it should be included. Sorry if you are squeamish.

Pic on left is cyst in breast tissue.
Pic on left with needle inserted.
Twenty days ago I attended St James Hospital for a mommogram, today I went back for an ultrasound. I sat in the same waiting room in almost the same chair. I wondered why they could not have sent me for the ultrasound back then. The wait was long and the place was packed and people, obviously with chest complaints waiting for a chest xray, were coughing and spluttering all over the place I had my ultrasound and the doctor was sent for. He pointed out to me a fair sized cyst which showed up black on the screen. Then he took a needle and inserted it into the cyst and drained it. I thought I was in a series of "House" and I could see the needle go into the black and started to drain off and get smaller. It was so cool and I know my kids would have been impressed. The fluid was clear, which surprised me and the doctor put it into a phial and sent it off to the lab. He stuck a band aid on it and sent me on my merry way.
Traffic Issues
Traffic from Esker Park to roundabout at Ballyowen. Compliments of Dublin County Council who closed a much needed exit to the N4 just to keep everything neat and tidy. And this is progress!
