The biggest most humongous snow man

Snow

The snowflakes flutter down
and gently kiss the earth
millions of them one on another
tickling the grass and greeting
the frozen soil

the robin respects the snow
she tippy toes so softly
leaving her delicate marks
on the surface

tall trees stretch their branches
and balance thousands of flakes
on their smallest stems
fallen leaves uncurl to receive their gift

birds silent
know their song could not match
the miracle of these moments
mother nature blesses the earth
with a blanket soft and white

and all becomes still
